Introductory post of my learnings about WWII

Hello readers,

As I am greatly interested to historic events and blogging, this may be my outlet to post all the things that I would learn for the coming days. And since I am from islands of the Philippines, I would start devouring my time into reading and acquiring facts from the Internet and first hand information about the things that happened to my country while consequently researching for the events that are happening beside it including the countries which played big roles in this major phenomena.

70 years ago, the photo above was taken when Santo Tomas internees were terrified by the intense shelling by the Japanese. Here Mr. Archibald Mathews and his son, Nicholas, take cover in a shelter they made in their own shack that was in the shanty area of the compound. Notice the young boy covering his ears as protection from the intense loud explosions. [1]
